February Be Like

First week of February had me all sprung and ready to take on some self inflicted change. Ive started wearing heels more, yes even to pop out for a spot of shopping, just because it makes me feel better (TALLER) and a little dressed up, just makes me feel like i'm trying more. Here are just a few snaps of what i wore last week

Enjoy

The same week following a theme (unknown) more like a trial of new clothes i got in the last few weeks and havent had the chance to wear yet. Also PRIMARK! I'm a patient person but I find it very hard to shop in the London Primarks so when i was in Kent i found myself actually shopping in Primark and i mean boy did i shop! Go Primark! These snaps are in my room i was testing my new tripod and just happened to be wearing my new trousers from Primark which i absolutely love.

Leather Jacket - H&M
Trousers- Primark
Lips - Sleek Matte Me Lipgloss

Different day, i just had my hair done then the beautiful London weather shat on me...oh did i mention there were tube strikes aswell which resulted in me spending my new clothes and hair in the cold rain... i'm a warrior really!

High Waisted Trousers - H&M

2014 Wish List....So far

I have already been making a list of what my 2014 should consist of and while a few items may be from the lusting list (the shoes) i basically wish to have many of these things as the year unfolds. They are in no particular desired order so here they are:

  • The mannequin. Not just any mannequin the taylor's mannequin you can pin and sew and glue to it. A few years ago I used to constantly customise, design and make my  own clothing and ive decided to pick up that hobby again this year but take it more seriously with this lady assisting me.
Taylors Mannequin

  • These lovey boots! Being 5ft nothing, I have always been trying to seem... look... feel.....BE TALLER! So I'm trying to get into wearing heels on a daily basis, more casually if i may say, and I feel that these boots would be perfect to ease me back into it again.

These boots

  • The Camera! When it comes to cameras, I actually don't know a lot more than I always make out. I use a Canon SLR camera for my blog and other uses but I recently found out that its a pretty old model which actually is quite poo for blogging. At first i thought i'd just get some lenses, tripod, a flash this and that instead of upgrading to a new camera as i've gotten quite attached to my Lola (yeah I named it), and after looking up how much all this would cost and the effort...i've just decided to altogether get a new camera that will make me get the most of every feature. And as i'm a Canon fan to the end, this little beauty down here has caught my attention for the replacement...i can already think of names to call her!

A better camera!

  • Thigh high boots! They not only look amazing, but you save money on buying tights or leggings, just throw on a top long enough to cover you bum and BOOM outfit sorted! I need.

Thigh High Boots

  • Roller Skates! Im looking for fun ways to exercise really, they are gorgeous and its a new years resolution from 2012 that really didn't follow through so why not pick it up this year? More efficient ways of getting round London, or simply more deadly? Open to interpretation

Happy New Year!

I know its a little late but better late than never as some may say. It been a whirlwind of a year so far but I've decided that this year, nothing's going to stop me from blogging...NOTHING! I got a little busy and carried away with other things when I moved out and then settling into university and the list just goes on from there, but, instead of just having a list of excuses, ive decided to keep on blogging...despite the list that by the way, will always keep on growing as thats just life doing its bastard bit for you. So to a happy new year and plenty more blogging :)

I know its been quite a while now since i last posted i just had a lot to deal with from school assignments to work to the rest! With all that finally out of the way now i have a backlog of photo's that i need to put up and some may not have a story like they usually do because i just cant recall what happened that day, some may, you never know! But from now on i pledge to be more consistent with my blogging :)

The theme for this outfit was minimal. I really just wanted to wear my brogues again and thought they would match well with the high-low dress i got about a year ago from H&M. I'm not a massive fan of high-low clothing i dont feel too comfortable knowing my knees are on show but my calves arent. My makeup on this day  was quite minimal as well as i just id have a break from caking my face in heavy products, and it looked more fresh faced and natural :). The shoes, dress and jumper are all from H&M and the bag is Primark. As you can tell from the energy drink it was early in the day and i was running low on body fuels :)

Long Skirt and Converse

Another day at school but luckily near the end now pheww! The brains behind this outfit was thinking it was going to be a really sunny, nice summer afternoon....then well the usual thing that happens with English weather happened and of course it turned out to be a cold gloomy day which i tackled with a crop top  and long skirt both from Internacionale, white converse from Office and my everyday leather jacket from H&M. I had to dab on some ruby woo just to add a little color to the'monotone' layer i was creating.

The High School Shirt

So today i ended up wearing my old high school shirt as its the only plain shirt i could find in my wardrobe. As i have stated before i tend to keep clothes for a while and a long time this one has been seeing as the last time i wore my school uniform was June 2009! Initially today i was going to wear all black but after learning that summer might turn up today i thought a pop of color was not a bad idea and im going to be honest it was a poo effort to try and be summery but i was grumpy getting dressed as i didnt get much sleep last why was it so hot last night huh???
On the plus side i think i might look into getting a couple more school shirts maybe in white as they arean easy to accessorize and they pull an outfit together very effortlessly.
